Frequently Asked Questions

At CogniCare, we offer individual psychotherapy to adolescents and adults.

Call your insurance provider and ask about your mental/behavioral health coverage. Some specific questions to ask are:

• Do I have out-of-network coverage for mental/behavioral health services?
• What is my deductible, has it been met, if not, how much do I have remaining?
• What percentage of an out-of-network psychologist's fee is reimbursed?
• How do I file a claim?

All sessions are offered online via telemedicine, through use of a confidential, HIPPA compliant online video portal. 

If we decide at any time that you would be better served by another provider or by more comprehensive services, I am happy to provide referrals to providers and/or organizations that I am familiar with and trust.

Before our first appointment, we will schedule a complimentary, fifteen minute video consultation. During this time, we will briefly get to know each other to assess goodness of fit, along with areas of support. From there, we will further explore and discuss next steps.

Please provide 48 hours notice if you need to cancel an upcoming session. If cancelled less than 48 hours or if you do not show to your scheduled session, the full session fee will be charged.
